PANEL OF JUDGES

We have enlisted the help of 3 amazing artists to form a panel of judges to help select our winners. They are all incredibly talented and each have their own distinct style.

ELENA BUYA

Elena is a content creator and an art teacher at Art Academica, Melbourne.
Elena’s passion is portraits and she creates them with different mediums: watercolours, gouache, pencils, oils, digital and more. It is a fascinating feeling to watch your paper come to life, and of course, portraits are a great challenge because human faces are so complex.
Elena is always learning. She believes that never ending learning is the best addiction one can have and the best part is anyone can do it!

TONY FLOWERS

Tony is an award-winning international illustrator based in Tasmania. He has worked on over 45 titles with major publishers, including Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Walker Books and the Australian National Library. His illustrations cover a wide range of topics, from ninjas, shape-shifting were-dragons to the Australian National Anthem.

With a passion for visual storytelling, Tony loves nothing more than to sit down with a blank piece of paper and his pens and get lost in his imagination.

JESSICA DALGEISH

Jess is a Wollongong based, Mum to one and Artist that specialises in content creation exploring how to use art supplies in creative ways.
Her skills range from resin art to wood burning, dot mandala art, calligraphy, painting rocks, zentangle and mixed media art journaling.  She was always creative as a child but decided to take on a more adventurous career in the Australian Navy. It wasn’t until she had her daughter at age 31 that she decided to follow her passion for art and created JessyD Designs. She is now studying to become an Art Therapist.
